Navigating the screen

Mouse pointer

As you move around the Barloworld E-Sales screen, you will see that the mouse pointer changes to a pointing hand when it is on an active link or button.

When the mouse pointer looks like this:

 

you can click to perform the action associated with the button or text.

Browser button bar

The Internet Explorer button bar looks something like this:

Note: Other browsers, such as Netscape, have similar button bars.

To move back to the previous screen that was displayed, click on the Back button:
 

To move forward to the next screen in the sequence, click on the Forward button (only available after using the Back button):
 

To stop a query from running, click on the Stop button:
 

To scroll down through a list that is too long for the screen use the scroll bar to the right of the screen.

Help button

Key screens in E-Sales are provided with help buttons:

 

To see online help one of these screens, click on the help icon near the top right of the screen.


Page navigation buttons

Some screens have more than one page. To move between the pages use the page navigation buttons on the right of the blue bar:

Column sorting

In some screens where there are lists of products, the order of sorting (ascending or descending) can be selected by clicking on the arrow symbol next to the column heading.

Tip: To find out what an arrow does, point to the arrow without clicking to see the tool tip.
